Why is it that the more choices you have the more difficult it makes things and yet if you're offered very few options, you're still not happy?  Hmmm, this is what seems to happen to me anyway.

So I think I have my little blog space here looking how I like it.  After spending way more hours than was probably necessary creating it -- because following a simple template just isn't good enough! -- I have figured out how to make it do things it normally wouldn't!  I investigated and subsequently learned how to make them basically bend to my will!  Mwahahaha!

Anyway. . .I hope it's easy to navigate and looks as spiffy to you as it does to me!  However, if there is something that maybe isn't appearing quite right; i.e. links aren't easily visible on the dark background, etc., post a comment, please.

Ok, well onto the next project!

Testing something

Oh hai.  Don't mind me.  I've just been very busy self-teaching myself HTML, CSS. . .basically this blog's coding for creating more then the Templates will provide.  *phew*  I think I'm fairly satisfied with things as of now. . .We'll see how long this lasts.  LOL  If you knew me better, this would not surprise you in the slightest. 

Anywho, back to this Disney thing.  It's a topic I'm testing something on. . .*finger, toes, eyes and whatever else you can manage* that it works!

Disney

So I have this great love for Walt Disney World.  My husband and I have been traveling there for the past few years, pretty much starting with our honeymoon, and I literally cannot picture spending somewhere else for my vacations. Why is this?

We don't have kids, well human ones; honestly, it's expensive; and crowds aren't really our thing -- actually the general public irritates me to the point that, for Christmas, my birthday, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, basically anytime a gift is expected, I ask for a cattleprod to take around with me -- unfortunately, to date, no one has fulfilled this wish! -- and yet, regardless, I am already booked for 2012!

Our families are either jealous of our going so often or completely confused by us. . .and for now I'm referring to our annual choice of destination.  Funny thing too, most of them have the big families that would be ideal for heading down, but for some reason we're the only ones so devout in our need to visit that we even bought into the vacation club (oh yea, I did it, and I want a zebra dome for it!) a few trips back. Mmhmm!  Completely owned by The Mouse for the next 50 years!

Anyway, I guess I just wanted to kind of think out loud as to why we love it there so much when there are so many reasons we should be cooler than liking Disney.  *insert teenage eyeroll*

So. . .another blog you say?  Well this is just my attempt at having a place to express how sometimes life is. . .unpredictable and no matter how much you think you're prepared, it throws you a curve ball, tosses in a monkeywrench, etc.  However, sometimes the surprises are good ones and I can't see leaving those out either!  So thanks for stopping by.  I hope to be back soon with more tidbits on those trials and tribulations we all must be subjected to. . .
